Sunday Recap
Recap:Green had no problems making White look like they've never played together as they domainated for an early win. Sayvon looked unstoppable, causing foul trouble early for White and scoring with ease. Green spent the second half finding mismatches they liked and going at weaker defenders while White pressed and forced shots, and never really got close to competing. Green was the more physical team and definitely made White uncomfortable, which was obvious throughout the game. Sayvon finished with 22 for Green and Darien had 37 for White.
Recap:Myles "Ice Cold" Powell went off for 11 threes, including a buzzer beater that sent the game to overtime as Orange stole a win in a shootout. This game does come with some controversy as Orange only had 4 and picked up a sub from the crowd, but the 4 for Orange that did show up were the right ones. For Yellow, there was a lack of intensity and focus early on and they may have played with their food a bit. Jamual had 38 for Yellow, and Myles and Sidney each had 39 for Orange.
Recap:Purple spoiled the return of Wayne to a very defeated, struggling Black squad as they rolled to a 67-54 victory. Mike Curtin once again lit it up from deep, with 6 3s and 25 points. For Black, Pete finished with 17 on 5 threes.
Recap:Red continues to show the reason they are so consistent is because they have so many threats that some weeks Jowaun can only have 3 points and it doesn't matter. EJ had 25, Tyler had 23 and Abap had 19. Jarret had 23 for Blue in the loss.
