Sunday Recap
Recap:The layup lines continued for Stan, and the new look Orange continue to be impressive. Myles Powell is a bucket and Black didn't really have an answer for either of them. Black wasn't helped at all by Isiah who looked like he might have missed his alarm and Mitch who looked as limber as a rusty garden rake. AP was a quiet bright spot once again.
Recap:Darien Brothers made his 2024-2025 debut and reminded everyone why he won the scoring title last year. Blue had no answer, and while Jarret did his best there isn't much you can do 1 on 1 and Blue doesn't have enough defensive talent to play actual help defense. Angel got hurt early and Blue is hopeful he'll be back soon.
Recap:Green dominated the second half of this game so profoundly it might have broken Yellow. It was even for the first half until Green went off -- with a hyped up bench and plainly impressive chemistry, Green went on a 15 point run paced by an efficient Tony Pires orchestrating the offense and the trio of Rico, Brad and Conor scoring buckets. It reached the crescendo when Chris Torres hit a deep 3 off the backboard and he yelled and pointed to the bench. Taylor Carlson couldn't handle the heat and checked himself out the game and Yellow basically waved the white flag. Green looks impossible to matchup against when you have chemistry like that, but where were Mike and Marcus? Those two adding less than 20 won't lead to many wins. Yellow got exposed as mentally weak and the key to beating them might just be being able to get in their head.
Recap:Red continues to take care of business; this was never a game. It's obvious Red can downshift down to their competition and still put up points. The lone bright spots for Purple are Mike Curtin and Mike Downing, but it's nowhere near enough. They need to consider adding to the roster if they can.
